Empowering the Next Generation: Solar at Cedar Hill Middle School
Hakai Energy Solutions is excited to be working on an impactful solar energy project at Cedar Hill Middle School. While we’re still in the final stages of installation, the project is already set to make a significant contribution to the school’s sustainability efforts and provide valuable educational opportunities.
A Living Learning Opportunity
The solar array at Cedar Hill isn’t just about energy—it’s also about education. With the ability to monitor the system in real-time, students will have the chance to learn firsthand how solar energy works, how weather conditions impact generation, and how renewable technologies are shaping our world. This project will serve as a powerful teaching tool for the students of Cedar Hill Middle School.
Powering Education with Clean Energy
This solar installation includes 246 high-efficiency 505W modules, providing a total system capacity of 124.23 kWdc. The energy generated will be converted through two 50kW inverters, ensuring optimal energy conversion and performance.
Once operational, the system is estimated to produce 142.55 megawatt-hours of electricity annually, reducing the school’s carbon footprint and helping to lower ongoing energy costs.
