We are a hardworking team of professionals who love to learn and build to the best of our collective ability. Hakai Energy Solutions is an electrical contractor, specializing in solar energy systems and renewable energy integration. Since 2011, we have had the opportunity to work in diverse environments, spanning across coastal British Columbia, and the interior. Hakai designs and builds integrated power systems for remote, off-grid and grid-tied clients, both commercial and residential. We are passionate about renewable energy and the climate, which is why we do what we do, but we are also explorers; we want to experience everything this beautiful province has to offer. Our clients have geographically ranged from the archipelago of Haida Gwaii to the Kootenay mountain range, and everywhere in between. We are proud to work with diverse clients, and communities – providing them with customized power solutions to meet their energy needs and project objectives.

Hakai Energy is a strong supporter of local conservation efforts, including land protection through the Comox Valley Land Trust, and sustainable management of forests for ecological, historical, and recreational value through the Cumberland Community Forest Society.

When you join our team, you’ll be onboarded with software and technology training, in order to catch you up to speed.

Our diverse team consists of chartered accountants, engineers, telemetry specialists, red-seal electricians, administrators and more.
